You will find the values you will need in the fields marked with R, G and B. The last bigger change came with Left 4 Dead 2 and the removal of the glow scripts. There are no known issues in more than 8000 hours of playing with this config so far. Also this config fixes an issue where you do not return to the last selected weapon from grenades/pills/medkit. The intention behind this config is, that you have everything weapons-, pills- and medkit-related on the mouse buttons so you can keep the left hand fingers on the keys for movement. Any mouse with at least two additional buttons and a mouse wheel will work with it. This autoexec.cfg was initially built for Left 4 Dead 1 and is now used with Left 4 Dead 2. Update for 2020: This autoexec now has an official git repository at. Since then there has only been 1 more game with achievements, with only Left 4 Dead 2 which was published for Windows on 16 November 2009. To give something back to the community we want to share our autoexec.cfg for Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 with you.
